Logan && Lane, Handsome Brothers!
I have been taking pictures of Logan for over a year now and I was just thrilled when his mommy asked if I would take pictures of both Logan and the new addition to the family, Lane. I have always thought brothers were so cute together. As I was editing I could see how proud Logan is of his baby brother. I caught myself briefly daydreaming flashing forward in life about 10 years with these two and how close they would be, the adventures they would go on together and the bond that no one could break. Logan is just a little ham! He had me laughing out loud the whole session. :) Lane, at 5 weeks old gave me major baby fever! They are both just as precious as could be.

Back to School && Keaton's Watch me GROW, 6Month Session
Seeing everyone's Facebook post about “first day of school” – especially my own – have me thinking a lot this week about how time really does fly by. At first, it seems like they’ll stay little forever and we’ll always be worrying about enough wet diapers, eating solid foods, breastfeeding challenges, sleeping through the night, potty training and hitting those major toddler milestones right on time. It has just made me realize this week that all you do is trade one kind of worry for another. I think that as parents we will always worry. It is simply natural. Will they learn enough? Will they be a good friend? Are they compassionate? Do they like sports or music or both? Did they make their bed this morning and pick up their room? Will they stand up to bullying? Will they use all of the lessons I have tried so hard to teach them to be a good person.
I am seriously tearing up typing this! I have one in Kindergarten and one in 5th Grade???
I have flashbacks of my mom’s eyes when I started Kindergarten and sometimes even remember the tears of equal joy and sadness as she was seeing me make that transition from baby to a more independent little person in Kindergarten.
So good luck, mamas, on this the first or second week back to school with your little ones. Savor each sweet little moment for it really does go by in a blink.
Speaking of time going so fast....We had Keaton's 6 month session recently! Keaton is part of my Watch me GROW! Baby Plan. Let me just tell you, she has grown so much! She is as cute as a button and is oh so happy! Here are a few from our session.

Page Family
Before Father's Day, Kay contacted me about a gift certificate for a Father's Day gift for her better half, Shane. How sweet and thoughtful of her! Wonderful, timeless photos that will freeze moments with he and his children forever. A big part of what makes up who Shane's is, is that he is a Firefighter. So getting a few shots of him with his gear was a must. I really enjoyed hanging out with this family!

Eric, Kristen && Laken {PROPOSAL TOO!)
Kristen & I had been emailing back and forth for a couple of months about her family session. Saturday her session came about and let me just tell you it was HOT! Eric, Kristen && Laken still managed to laugh and have fun. I could tell no doubt that these two love birds were in love. I had no idea however, that Eric was going to pull me to the side and tell me he was going to propose to Kristen! (How SWEET is that??) I was just near about as shocked as she was! Anyways, so we finish up the family portion and then I tell Kristen I want a few more shots of her and Eric together. Eric then got down on one knee and proposed. You could tell Kristen was shocked and happy and she said YES! I was the happiest photographer on earth that day. I got to witness a very, very important step in life and love! It was an honor capturing the beginning of the next chapter in their lives!

Office Space.
After visiting with my lovely and very sweet Tax lady (a LIFESAVER, ya'll) a while back, it was clear that I needed an office space. I was envisioning a little area to keep things neat and organized. I knew if I didn't get some kind of control on the business end (money, receipts, etc) it would all end up overwhelming me. So why not make the space cute. Ya know?? I mean if I have to look at it and all. So this is nothing fancy, but it is my little creation and I love it! Just thought I would share with you all where I spend a big amount of my time.
