Baby Alivia {Newborn}

Sweet baby alert! Meet little miss Alivia. I got to hang with this adorable little lady this past Tuesday to shoot her newborn pics. What a beauty! and…can you believe it? she stayed awake pretty much the WHOLE time and she only went to sleep right when we needed her to, she stayed in a great mood for nearly like 3-4 hours. insane! Good girl! There were times when her Aunt and I got completely teary eyed watching her mommy hold her. Soooo stinking precious. check it out...

The movie, Stepmom.

A couple of nights ago I edited most of the night. I was restless anyways, so I was trying to get things caught up. The next day, I was exhausted so I decided that when my little girl took a nap I would too. Eh uh, nope. Wasn't happening. The movie Stepmom kept popping into my head. You guys remember that movie? One of my absolute favorites of all time. I think it came out in like 1998? Of course, I have always loved Julia Roberts and Susan Sarandon in just about anything they played in. This movie always hit home to me anyways, considering I went through practically the same thing only two years prior in 1996. Anywho, I could ramble for days...back to my point. Ok so remember??

Well, I pondered at why in the world this movie kept playing in mind, over and over again.

I prayed about it. And all of the sudden it hit me. You remember when Jackie (mother)was dying of Cancer and Isabelle (stepmom) decided to take all of the pictures of the kids, and pictures of Jackie with the kids..and ones with the whole family?

Well, I just know this is what I am suppose to do as my "Pay if Forward". Could possibly be what this whole Photography journey is all about for me. My calling. Some of you may think I am silly, but I don't care. :)

From now on, any one who is suffering from the awful, dreadful disease of Cancer or has a family member that is suffering from this illness. (Close family member) I will photograph your family. How absolutely precious and priceless would those photographs be should your family member go to be with the Lord? I will do this out of the goodness of my heart and no fee will be charged. Of course, I still love capturing all aspects of life from Birth all the way through...but this is just one of those things that has always been dear to my heart. It is also helpful in my healing process as well. :)

Better Off-Rebuilt

Recently, Kandace from Better Off- Rebuilt contacted me about taking a few images for her portfolio. Umm, heck yeah! We had her session on Monday. Let me just tell you guys, this girl totally rocks! She is not only very beautiful outside, she is such a sweetheart as well! She has worked really hard at her dream and I don't know about ya'll but she has definitely inspired me. Kandace just showed me what is possible when you set your mind and push with determination to achieve a goal. She is a mom of two, living a clean and healthy lifestyle. Princess Stella in the Enchanted Forest

I spent this past Thursday, with precious Stella & her beautiful Mommy. Stella has such a cute little personality and imagination. She loves to get all dressed up and accessorize! (I am pretty sure if you knew her mommy, you would know where she gets it hehe) Here are a few shots from her session.

Organic Bloom Frames

Happy Monday, everyone! It has been a busy, busy one here! I have been working diligently on a few projects for Lorianna Photography. I am pleased to announce the first one! I am happy to say that I am now a vendor for the Organic Bloom! Yes, yes indeed it is true. See. :)

It's the little things

So, I sometimes find myself so busy I forget to capture some of the things in my life that are so very important to me! Well, I embarrassed my little girl half to death in Walmart yesterday. (hence the goofy grin) (Yes, I am that crazy photographer where my camera goes everywhere LOL) I got some stink eye for sure from strangers....But you see, it hit me...she is almost too big for the top part of the buggy. Which signifies that although she will always be my baby, my baby is growing up. *Sniff Sniff*
